Impossible for me not to share some details of one of the most amazing knives I had the chance to hold in my hands. Not only that, but it is mine, by the grace and generosity of sensei Oualid Burström and the karatekas from Skelleftea Guldstadens Kyokushin Karate Club. For a couple of days we were invited in northern Sweden to share some of our karate experience. This was an honor and a joy in itself, but receiving this masterpiece created by, maybe the best knife maker in Sweden, Jörgen Sundström (www.jsknives.com), was the highlight of the trip for me. Created in the traditional style of the Saami people, this puukko holds thousands of years of craftsmanship and history in it and the creative talent of Mr. Sundström. The amount of details is absolutely insane, and to find out that master Jörgen Sundström is also a Kyokushin karateka was that much better! Just wanted to say again a big "Thank you!" to you guys, I feel so lucky and blessed to have known you! Osu!
I want to thank Shihan Anca Wallmen, Sensei Harris Wallmen and Sensei Marius Ilas for their contribution to the camp. It was a great pleasure and a great honor to have you here. You gave us a lot of new ideas, inspiration and good time. And also I would like to thank all the participants, without you it wasn’t be possible to have a camp. And I will not forget our club member who did an amazing job during this week-end.
